Uzy's NY Pizza | Our Story

Real Queens, New York Pizza Flavor, Kept Alive in Arlington

Uzy’s NY Pizza was built to protect the kind of slice people remember from Queens: thin, foldable crust, simple sauce, fresh mozzarella, and dough made with patience. The flavor goes back to the neighborhood pizza shops of the 1950s and 60s, when a great pie did not need shortcuts, just fresh ingredients and someone who cared enough to make it right. Ownership may change hands, but a family recipe is still a family recipe. Today, we bring that same New York-style pizza to Arlington and DFW, one hot slice, full pie, and paper plate at a time.

A single storefront on Matlock Road — no fanfare, just a kitchen and an obsession with doing New York-style pizza right in a city that didn't have it. Word spread one slice at a time.

Thin, foldable, with just the right char and chew — anyone who's had a real Manhattan slice recognizes it immediately. That's not an accident; it's what Uzy set out to make from day one.
